Complementing his travel writing and editing, Don often appears as a travel expert on TV and radio and in print, and hosts a national series of onstage conversations with prominent travel writers and adventurers. Don has visited more than 75 countries and has worked as a translator in Paris, a teacher in Athens, and a television talk-show host in Tokyo.
